Scripture Art Canvas in earthtones

Here is another 10x10 Scripture focused canvas that I am teaching later this week.  The one I showed Friday is for the pink-loving tidy crafters...this one is all about inking and distressing!
I used the Love is... stampset and the Bind and Stitch stampset on this one, too.
Here it is in its entirety:
I  love the buttons and opaques on this!  You could also add a photo above the word 'love' instead of the embellishments.  This one goes so well in so many rooms of my home....wonder where it will end up!

I have a BRAND NEW CONTEST coming out in a few days with a special Copic product for the winner!!
Be sure to follow the blog and sign up for the email updates so you'll see it when it's posted!!
Until then, Be the blessing!

Canvas Scripture Art and Winners Announced!

Hello blogger-friends!
It has been a long two weeks since I was here to post the first inspired stamps artwork challenge!   I have been in Florida with my father, who passed away in my arms just last Saturday from congestive heart failure.  It has been hard, and I continue to grieve the loss of such a wonderful daddy, but God has also been so good to me in this time!  As this verse says, "Love never fails", and it surely does not!

This is the first of two Canvas Scripture Art pieces I want to share with you, using my Love is... stamp set from the inspired stamps store  One thing I hear over and over from those of you who have purchased stamps from me is how crisp the images are that you stamp and I agree.  This size of stamp tends to be difficult to stamp, but not this one!  It stamped cleanly the first time!

I am teaching these canvas classes next week and am so excited at the response I have had to them! Those who take this class will learn how to make their own bouquet of paper roses, like this one, with some pink distressed stickles in the center:
Here is the finished canvas.  The stitching is done with the stitches in the Bind and Stitch set from the inspired stamps store and I find myself using that in so many projects!:
This is a 10x10 size and I left room for a photo above the word LOVE, but adding more flowers and sparkles would look great too!!

Because there were 4 entries into the first contest, all four entries were selected to receive a brand new stampset that is still in production as their prizes!!  I will mail them off to you as soon as I have them in February ladies!!  Be sure to email me your mailing addresses!!  And THANKS for playing along!!

I'll have the next canvas up Sunday night so be sure to come back then!!
Be the blessing!

January Release: 3 new stamp sets added!!

Here's 1 ($3.99) of the new stamp sets you will find at the inspired stamps store!  It's called Romans 10:17.  This is a wonderful stamp you can use in a variety of ways.  I teach Bible Study and would send this out on a postcard welcoming people to my class and it's a verse you can stamp and frame for a gift!  The price is perfect, too!!
Here is the COLORABLE UPPERCASE ALPHABET I used on my New Year's Card that can be stamped on colored cardstock or patterned paper for those who don't like to color....and of course for those of you who do, you can make these letters, numbers, and symbols match any decor or colored paper you are working with.  These are by far my favorite alphabet!!  These come on a sheet sized 6x8, are about an inch tall each and sell for $18.99.
Do you recognize these verses?  They were the ones chosen to be a part of our first stampset where YOU choose the verses.  All of the stampers who recommended verses were sent their FREE copy of this before Christmas.  Now you can find this stampset in our store for just $13.99.
It's called:  inspired stampers' favorite collection #1....and that means that there will be a favorite collection #2 in the next few weeks!!

Be sure to stop by the store if you have time today by clicking HERE
or you can go there at www.inspiredstamps.com

Box of Snowman Magnets with a Tutorial

Have you ever received a box that you just LOVED?  This year my sweet Mother-In-Law sent me a beautiful cross necklace in the box you see above.  While I truly love the necklace, I loved the box so much it was like getting 2 presents in one!!  I knew I would have to use it in a project!
So today I was playing with the inspired stamps 1inch snowmen (I'm having too much fun playing with them!) and came up with the idea to create a gift box of magnets, using this beautiful box!
Here's what the finished product looks like:
This makes a super fast and fun gift so I thought I'd do a photo tutorial for you so you can make your own:
First you'll need the 1 inch snowmen stamps you can get at the inspired stamp store for $7.99 (or if you were one of the 80+ people who got a free one in my last contest, you can use that one!)  I didn't realize this photo was so fuzzy until I uploaded it.  You can see it clearly in the store :o)

Then you'll need these supplies:
The black magnet is a sticky backed business card magnet, but any magnet will do.  You'll also need scissors.  If you don't have Crackle accents, any clear glue will do.  I bought the glass gems at a local superstore in the artificial flower section...you get a ton for under $3!!
Next you'll want to stamp and color your snowman stamp.
I found punching a circle of the snowman stamp was easiest, but you can cut a square and trim the excess later.  I put a thin layer of the clear adhesive then spread it evenly with my fingers.
Put the glass gem over your stamped/colored image and put the back of the paper to make sure you get an even coat on your image.  Then I trimmed the white that is showing outside of the glass gem.
Next put your dried glass gem on the sticky side of your magnet. Press firmly and trim it.
It's very thin and you can't see the paper or magnet from the front or sides when it's on a magnetic fridge or whiteboard.  VERY hard to take photos of this on a whiteboard as the glass gems picks up EVERY light in the room :o).  But they are really great in person!

Thanks for taking time out of your day to stop by and visit!

3x3 mini-album

Here's a little 3x3 album I made with Scripture and photos...
I used a CTMH 3x3 album and decorated it with their papers and
inspired stamps:  Me and My House
Here are the inside pages:

I love the photos from our hike in the snow so I included them in this little book,
which would make a really great gift!

Blessed 2011...(sneak peek!)

Happy New Year!
I have thoroughly enjoyed lots of outdoor activities with my family over the past week and didn't make it into my inspired stamp pad much at all!!  But, I am resting and ready to get back to work creating!!
Thanks for all the wonderful emails from so many of you who received the free snowman stamp!!  It warms my heart to know how much you love them!!

There are 3 additional stampsets coming to the store in the next couple of days and then we will be launching all our new stamps the first of each month!!  We are just so excited about the plans we have for 2011!

This card I have for you today has paper from K&C company and I just love the words on it:  wishes, dreams, believe, inspire....Words that make me think of a crisp new year with so much to look forward to!  The numbers are the sneak peek....as are the letters I used inside with one of the snowman stamps from the
1 inch snowman set....
The letters are from my new Colorable Uppercase Alphabet set that will be in our store in a few days!  I used 3 Copic Markers to color both the numbers 2011 on the front of the card and 3 for the 'blessed'.  You can achieve a gorgeous gradient look by using your lightest at the top, medium color in the middle, and darkest at the bottom.  This alphabet can also be stamped on colored card stock or patterned paper for those who want the color but don't like to color!  I used Copic R20 to color around the letters.

I'll have some new artwork I've done up for you tomorrow, plus a new contest coming SOON!
May you be SNOW blessed in 2011,
inspired stamping,
~Antoinette
