World Cardmaking Day with OWH: Come see what we're GIVING AWAY!!

A photo for the awesome OWH elves to take to the OWH blog!

Hello Friends and welcome to a VERY MERRY post!!

As many of you know, I have been a proud Army wife for 22 years!  When my husband was deployed for a year in Iraq last year, he would talk about these great home-made cards they got there.  It wasn't until after he was home that I ran across the Operation Write Home blog and BOY was I excited!!  There are several AMAZING women whom you can actually mail cards FOR soldiers AND  for SOLDIERS to mail HOME to a loved one (as they say, there are no Hallmark stores during their deployment overseas!!).  Then, Jan Hunnicutt was on our Inspired Stamps first Design Team--she's very active with OWH, and encouraged me to get involved!  This is such and ENCOURAGEMENT to our troops AND their families so I encourage each of you to get involved!

OWH is having a BLOGHOP today, October 1st, using CHRISTMAS CARDS as their theme:  Here's my project, a Gatefold Card:
It opens up like a gate and you see this:
I put the place to write out a personal greeting on the back of the card:
All of the stamp sets used are made in the USA and can be found on the online Inspired Stamps store: (you can click on the link to see the store)

Inspired Stamps: More Christmas cards...

Hello Friends!
Today I have a couple more cards for you that I am actually teaching tonight!  These are all Gatefold cards and they are super easy to make, but provide a nice 'wow' factor when opening them!  The base of the cards are 51/2 by 8 and are scored at 2" and 6" to make the perfect 'gate' in the middle.

Here is what the card looks like closed and the other card I have to share today (all stamps are from the Inspired Stamps Online Store you can go to HERE), and the paper is from My Mind's Eye; cardstock is CTMH:

Be sure to stop by tomorrow for some more Christmas Card fun.  Then Wednesday I'm Guest Designing for the Operation Write Home's Wednesday Throwdown with a military Christmas Card, and Thursday the Inspired Stamps Design Team is sharing their Merry & Bright Christmas creations with us here!!

Have a blessed day!

New Stamps in the online store: Plus several more shared in this LAST Sneak Peek!!

Hello friends!
All 14 of the new Inspired Stamps are now available for purchase in the online store:

Today I want to share with you the stamps that were not 'sneak peeks' but will count in this final Sneak Peek today.  I found this great new tray from Ranger Ink at my scrapbook store yesterday and KNEW I wanted to use it for my living room wall!  I used 2 of the new His Little Ones (Thankful Boy and Thankful Girl) and colored them with Copic markers to match the background Bo Bunny Paper.  I used the verse from the new Fall Gratitude set for the bottom center framed area.  AND...I used a brand new stamp set that is PERFECT FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ART JOURNAL or just love to use framed words in your cards or on your pages.  Here is the new stampset called Labelmaker Alphabet, also now in the store:
I made it so you can fit a variety of lengths in the 'labeled' boxes.  They cut out well too!  Here's what I did for the shadowbox you see above:
I stamped the words, then stamped the box that fit it best over it.  Then I cut the words out and glued them to the top of the characters:

I honestly have to say this is my favorite alphabet set I've ever used!!  I hope you will let me know how you like it!

We have 6 new $3.99 2x2 Single Scripture Stamps:

And last, but certainly not least is a set that everyone who uses cards to encourage others needs;
Card Ministry Basic Set
I already love this set!  Here are some of the great things you can do with it.  You can use the black solid circle to make the colored backgrounds match your card.  Then the smaller sentiments stamp right into the center.  Also the flower pot/flowers and stems (located at the bottom of the set) create a wide variety of options for you to decorate with.  Here's my playing with this set on some scratch paper to give you ideas:

Ok...that's a lot of info!!  But I was too excited to leave anything out!
Don't forget to enter the Big Giveaway!!  You have through NOON Sunday to comment on each Sneak Peek (including this one!) to increase your chances to win!  Go HERE for all the information!!

Thanks so much for all your support!
